Castle Scotland App – Beta Preview

Castlescotland.app is slowly growing into a practical field guide for discovering castles,ruins and historic places across Scotland.The long-term plan is to develop a dedicated iOS app,and possibly an Android version in the future,but first I want to build,test and improve the project as a Progressive Web App.

The current PWA version is designed to make castle exploring easier,whether you are planning a trip,checking places by region,or saving locations for later.It includes a castle search tool,regional browsing,favourite castles,and direct map links to help with travel planning.

This is still an early beta version,so some features may change,improve or expand over time.The goal is to create something useful,clean and easy to use for people who love Scotland,history,photography and castle hunting.

You are very welcome to try the beta version,explore the available castles and follow the development of the project.More castles,photos,visitor notes and planning tools will be added gradually as the app grows.

You can add Castlescotland.app to your phone and use it like a regular app.

On iPhone / iPad:
Open the website in Safari,tap the Share button,then choose Add to Home Screen.

On Android:
Open the website in Chrome,tap the menu button,then choose Install app or Add to Home screen.

After installation,the app icon will appear on your phone’s home screen.
